You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Updates/FYI:
- 5.8 Release: – Beta 2 released on time, planned hard string freezeString freeze The term "string freeze" is used by the core team to mark the end of changes to the strings of an upcoming release. A string freeze also means that there will be no more strings added to the core project. Sometimes a string freeze has two phases a soft freeze and a hard freeze. A string freeze is announced on the Polyglots blog by the current release lead. date is June 29th (in roughly 2 weeks)
- Polyglots Training – @evarlese published some of the contents on Learn WordPress 🎉 Another status update P2p2 "p2" is the name of the theme that blogs at make.wordpress.org use (and o2 is the accompanying plugin). When asked to post something "on the p2" by a member of the Polyglots team, that usually means you're asked to post on the team blog https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/. post coming soon!

Below stats are dated 2021-06-16 compared to 2021-06-09 (differences between brackets)
Releases: 205 (±0) locale, 76 (±0) up to date, 1 (±0) behind by minor versions, 2 (±0) behind by one major version, 46 (±0) behind more than one major version, 77 (±0) have site but never released, 3 (±0) have no site.
Translations: 205 (±0) total, 48 (±0) at 100%, 27 (±0) over 95%, 7 (+1) over 90%, 47 (-1) over 50%, 75 (±0) below 50%, 126 (±0) have a language pack generated, 1 (±0) have no project.
Requests: There are 30 unresolved editor requests out of 4 365 (+13) total and 18 unresolved locale requests out of 160 (±0) total.

- Docs team currently doesn’t have HelpHub (User guide) lead but is planning to eventually update the blockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor.
