Hello everyone, I’ve just found…

Hello everyone,
I’ve just found out that is possible to actively contribute to WP translation, as I started to send translation suggestions for a pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party that I consider to be a “must have”, but see it’s still not available on my language (Italian).

I see that the translation for this plugin has been started, but it seems to be quite of “abandoned”, as there are a lot of untranslated stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. and many others that are set as “fuzzy”. So I would like to accelerate this translation in particular, by working on it myself.

I would also like to suggest some other WP coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. translation that seems not really correct, from my point of view.

So here I am, applying for becoming a GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on all projects for a specific locale. 🙂
Is that possible, please?

Thank you in advance,
Marco
