# #editor-requests (Post Title) PTE Request…

PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as
PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for
example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project
translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors.
Per project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves. Request for Theme Treville

I’ve suggested translations for this theme Treville and would like to have them
reviewed. I’d also like to become a PTE.

Name: Treville Theme

 3. Hi [@zuqueto](https://profiles.wordpress.org/zuqueto/),
 4. Thank you for your contribution!
 5. I reviewed your suggestions, but I see that most of them aren’t following our guidelines:

 6. I also recommend you to join us on SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat

     * Hi [@zuqueto](https://profiles.wordpress.org/zuqueto/),
     * I was not fully clear on my last reply, so I’m getting back to you here. 🙂
     * Considering that the translations weren’t as expected, I won’t be able to approve
       your request for now.
     * We have updated our guidelines with more details this week, so I recommend you
to follow this updated guide: [https://br.wordpress.org/team/handbook/traducao/processo-de-aplicacao-para-pte/](https://br.wordpress.org/team/handbook/traducao/processo-de-aplicacao-para-pte/)
