# Hello Polyglots,

I’m the developer of GeneratePress: https://wordpress.org/themes/generatepress/

Can we add the following user as an editor?

 *  [#de_DE](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=de_DE) – [@dasigna](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dasigna/)

Thanks!

 3.  Hey [@edge22](https://profiles.wordpress.org/edge22/) and [@dasigna](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dasigna/),
 4. I’ve just today overhauled the default (informal) and formal [#de_DE](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=de_DE)
     translations for the GeneratePress theme and taken in the latest suggestions by
     [@dasigna](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dasigna/) from last week.
 5.  Formal:
      [https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/de/formal/wp-themes/generatepress/](https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/de/formal/wp-themes/generatepress/)
     and Informal: [https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/de/default/wp-themes/generatepress/](https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/de/default/wp-themes/generatepress/)
 6. are currently with **100%** **“in synch”** and **consistent** like it should be,
     which means that they only differ in the explicit informal/formal stringsString
     A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude
     of localized strings..
      If you like to maintain this, please, please make sure
     to keep both sides up-to-date. That would be really great!
 7. For an editor assignment you gotta ask someone who’s currently GTEGeneral Translation
     Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who
     has global access to validate strings on **all projects for a specific locale.**,
     like [@jensratzel](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jensratzel/).
 8.  All the best.

      * Hi [@edge22](https://profiles.wordpress.org/edge22/),
      * Your pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions
        that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or
        add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written
        in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These
        can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
        or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. is currently **100 % translated
        for German (Default) and German (Formal)**. Our gPTE (= Global PTEProject Translation
        Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person,
        who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress,
        WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation
        editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per
        project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
        after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
        or by the contributors themselves.) [@transl8or](https://profiles.wordpress.org/transl8or/)
        took care of it. As the amount of stringsString A string is a translatable
        part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.
        by [@dasigna](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dasigna/) is too low to give PTE
        rights, I would suggest getting back to us later, when [@dasigna](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dasigna/)
        has suggested more strings.
      * Thanks a lot.
      * Done for de_DE [@tobifjellner](https://profiles.wordpress.org/tobifjellner/)
