You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Don’t see your language? You can request support for it.

I have translated texts with interpreters and the translation suggesting is in progress…
I would like to be able to approve translation for our plugins. Please promote me to be a CLPTECross-locale Project Translation Editor A Cross-Locale Project Translation Editor is an account owned by a plugin or theme author (or the authoring organization), which uses professional translators to localize their product. The cross-locale project translation editor can import/validate strings on a specific project for more than one locale. This role has the same capabilities as a Project Translation Editor over multiple locales instead of one. Cross-Locale Project Translation Editors need to meet a set of criteria before being appointed by General Translation Editors.

We do I need to create another user for that? Physically I am the only person responsible for this. (Maybe because system needs a user who suggest and anouther who will accept them?)

Yes, We are working with official translators and will keep an eye on the Glossaires.

  Yes. It should be a specialized user, which will upload the translations directly. I.e. it’s not supposed to “approve” translations uploaded by someone else.
