There are a couple of ways you can try to recruit translators/PTE’s:
1. Mention the need for translators/PTE’s in your readme.
2. Make a sticky post in your theme/pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party forum.
3. For a plugin, you may also add a (small and dismissable) call-out in the settings page for your plugin (if you have one).
4. If you see that someone has provided translations, then you may @ mention their username in a post in your plugin/theme forum in order to trigger a notification to them, where you ask nicely if they’d be willing to become a PTE for your project in their own language. (But don’t hunt people down vigorously, I’d expect some 10-15% of them to respond to that.)

@blossomthemessupport seems like all stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. got introduced from a person with no knowledge about the #pt_BR language, maybe someone tried to get strings from the memory, but there’s a lot of strings that suppose to be translated yet in English, ignoring translating styling and several other problems.
Please next time ask for some member of the community to translate, so they will be able to correctly use the translation memory.

@blossomthemessupport it looks like the translation of #zh_HK is done by a guy with little or no knowledge of the Chinese (Hong Kong) language. The stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. are just converted from Chinese simplified to traditional, and not following the wordings used in Hong Kong. I’ll review some of your translations and make subsequent changes where required. Next time please look for some members of the community (e.g. Hong Kong people for zh_HK and Taiwan people for zh_TW) to translate, they can make good use of the translation memory and hence the correct wordings.
