Translate WordPress

You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

I’m not on the Polish team, but I think I can suggest a couple of good things for you.

A. Why don’t you join the Polish SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. team? There you’ll be able to discuss Polish terminology, ask someone more experienced to have a quick look, etc.
It’s a two-step process:
1. Join the global Slack space for WordPress contributors via https://make.wordpress.org/chat/ (and once there, you can also join the global #polyglots channel, where we discuss WordPress translations on a global level.
2. Next, use the special forwarding address you get from (1) to join the Polish team via https://wordpresspopolsku.slack.com/signup/

B. Further: A language pack for your pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. Go to the end of https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/pie-register/stable/pl/default/ and export all strings in .moMO files MO, or Machine Object is a binary data file that contains object data referenced by a program. It is typically used to translate program code, and may be loaded or imported into the GNU gettext program. This is the format used in a WordPress install. These files are normally located inside .../wp-content/languages/-format.
Rename the downloaded file into pie-register-pl_PL.mo and upload it to /wp-content/languages/plugins/
