You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Could one of you make me GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on all projects for a specific locale. for polish translations? I see that there are a lot of popular plugins and themes that are more or less translated, but no one is approving those translations. In the end the work of contributors is wasted.

Polish translation team forum seems to be abandoned (las post from almost a year ago). That’s why I’m writing here.

Hey @iworks,
Thanks for the feedback. Could you at least approve translations for Sparkling theme?
Later I’m gonna finish translations for bbPressbbPress Free, open source software built on top of WordPress for easily creating forums on sites. https://bbpress.org., so I’m also gonna need help from some approving it.
I noticed that a lot of translations are done for months but no one approves them. What’s the point of blocking that work?
If you guys don’t have time to approve, I’m willing to help.

And if you needed some background: I’ve lead projects that translated popular Fallout mods: Fallout 1.5 Resurrection and Nevada. So I have some experience. Let me know if you needed more details.

At last WC Poland https://2019.lodz.wordcamp.org/ we had strong translators team on Contributor DayContributor Day Contributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time.
