I can see that you have been assigned GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on **all projects for a specific locale.**. Please make sure to add [#snd](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=snd) as a watched term in [https://profiles.wordpress.org/me/profile/notifications/](https://profiles.wordpress.org/me/profile/notifications/) in order to receive notifications when your localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/) is mentioned as a tag here. In addition, you can bookmark [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/tag/snd/?resolved=unresolved](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/tag/snd/?resolved=unresolved) to check now and then for unresolved posts where your locale tag is mentioned. You’ve got information about how we work in general in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/) and if you’re able to stop by in our channel polyglots in SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform [https://slack.com/](https://slack.com/). The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/) now and then (especially when we have meetings, usually on Wednesdays – see schedule in the sidebarSidebar A sidebar in WordPress is referred to a widget-ready area used by WordPress themes to display information that is not a part of the main content. It is not always a vertical column on the side. It can be a horizontal rectangle below or above the content area, footer, header, or any where in the theme.) then that would be great. And if you have any questions, you can just shout in the same channel at any time, there are almost always some experienced GTE’s around. ### Leave a Reply 󠀁[Cancel reply](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/11/01/pte-request-for-5-3-x-development/?output_format=md#respond)󠁿 You must be [logged in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fmake.wordpress.org%2Fpolyglots%2F2019%2F11%2F01%2Fpte-request-for-5-3-x-development%2F&locale=en_US) to post a comment. # Post navigation [← PTE Request for [yith-woocommerce-wishlist/] [team-members][user-registration]](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/11/01/pte-request-for-yith-woocommerce-wishlist-team-membersuser-registration/) [Hi, Please add me as… →](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/11/01/hi-please-add-me-as/)
