# CLPTE Request for GoDaddy

Greetings Polyglots!

I ([@fjarrett](https://profiles.wordpress.org/fjarrett/)) am posting on behalf GoDaddy
to request CLPTECross-locale Project Translation Editor A Cross-Locale Project Translation
Editor is an account owned by a plugin or theme author (or the authoring organization),
which uses professional translators to localize their product. The cross-locale
project translation editor can import/validate strings on a specific project for
more than one locale. This role has the same capabilities as a Project Translation
Editor over multiple locales instead of one. Cross-Locale Project Translation Editors
need to meet a set of [criteria](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#cross-locale%c2%a0project-translation-editor)
before being appointed by [General Translation Editors.](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
authorization for our new translator account [@godaddyi18n](https://profiles.wordpress.org/godaddyi18n/)
intended to submit professionally-translated stringsString A string is a translatable
part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.
for the themes & plugins authored by [@godaddy](https://profiles.wordpress.org/godaddy/).

Please see the [previous discussion](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/?p=25552)
on our PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred
to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project(
for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale.
A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors.
Per project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves. request thread where it was advised that we instead
request for CLPTE.

If you have any questions or requests for us, please comment here and I’ll be happy
to oblige. Thank you!

         - Please remove [@godaddyi18n](https://profiles.wordpress.org/godaddyi18n/)
from nb_NO on CoBlocks if possible. Some of the provided translations are
so bad/wrong/misunderstood/misleading that they would severely hurt the

         - I follow this plugin myself and will keep it 95-100% translated to nb_NO
