The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/) chat to better help the efforts of translation to [#es_mx](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=es_MX) however I never received the invitation e-mail. Since I already asked for the invitation, I can’t ask for a second one at make.wordpress. orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. [https://wordpress.org/](https://wordpress.org/)/chat as they just tell me to answer the mail they already sent me. I have asked for support three times at slackinvitehelp e-mail and so far I haven’t received a single answer to my mails. Can somebody help me to solve this? ### Share this: * [ Threads ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=threads) * [ Bluesky ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=bluesky) * [ Facebook ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=facebook) * [ X ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=x) * [ Mastodon ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=mastodon) * [ WhatsApp ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=jetpack-whatsapp) * [ LinkedIn ](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?share=linkedin) * [Login to Reply](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fmake.wordpress.org%2Fpolyglots%2F2019%2F09%2F23%2Fjoining-slack-chat%2F%23respond&locale=en_US) * [Clear to-do](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?output_format=md#) 1. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/890bd890338f9b6a17143a65ac10a20410e135583d95106bb09f20d91f66afe2? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 2. Hi [@pencho15](https://profiles.wordpress.org/pencho15/) I have seen your email address in the backend. Unfortunately, hotmail is known to discard all emails from wordpress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. [https://wordpress.org/](https://wordpress.org/), so a couple of manual fixes will be needed. I’m checking exactly what to do, and will get back to you. 4. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/250257111d1248c34046552bbcdf6999949ef56b2f992dd5eb39bf45cabeb18a? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 5. The short version is that if you can’t receive our emails, then you cannot join the SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform [https://slack.com/](https://slack.com/). The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/). You can change to a different email address and we can resend the invitation then, but you will need to use a working email address. 7. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/75148ead34ef4e9d471f7db7cddee7de7e8f12d75e2127b761dfe814b50c8fbe? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 8. Allright, I changed hotmail for gmail, but I still can’t ask for a second invitation as the page still remembers one has been sent. Did you email slackinvitehelp from your new email address, explain the problem and then wait about one week? 14. * ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/75148ead34ef4e9d471f7db7cddee7de7e8f12d75e2127b761dfe814b50c8fbe? s=32&d=mm&r=g) * [Pencho15](https://profiles.wordpress.org/pencho15/) 7:17 pm _on_ October 13, 2019 * Just as before, I was completely ignored. * I did my best, but it seems it’s not mean to happen. * A note should be added to warn that if you use a Hotmail adress you’ll be left out. ### Leave a Reply 󠀁[Cancel reply](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/joining-slack-chat/?output_format=md#respond)󠁿 You must be [logged in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fmake.wordpress.org%2Fpolyglots%2F2019%2F09%2F23%2Fjoining-slack-chat%2F&locale=en_US) to post a comment. # Post navigation [← Hello Polyglots, We’re the plugin…](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/22/hello-polyglots-were-the-plugin-15/) [Hello Polyglots, I am author… →](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2019/09/23/hello-polyglots-i-am-author-4/)
