Please first submit at least a bunch of fr_FR translation stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. so we could check if your translations follow our LocaleLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ rules.

Keep in mind that this is just a blog with some functions for formatting. There’s no hidden special integration. Checking a check-box won’t change anything except the view of the check box and its associated line of text.

Is there going to be some sort of professional translators or how are you creating the translations? As Tor-Bjorn said, we usually want to give PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves. rights to people that know the language but if you are using translators or know the language yourself, I can approve. Finland is relatively small country and we have relatively few resources so we will gladly give PTE rights as long as translations are not run through Google Translate etc.
