You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Great. I have good news for you.
Any logged in user is free to suggest translations. So you can just go to the link you gave above and start suggesting stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings..
Some things to keep in mind:
The #da_DK team has agreed on some terminology. Please have a look at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/dev/da/default/glossary
(In most cases, when a word in the source stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. matches a term in the glossary, it will be marked with a dashed underscore. If you place your cursor on the highlighted word, you’ll see a tooltip with the relevant translated term, along with any comments about the term.)

When you translate strings, they’ll be added as pending for validation. When an editor approves a translation, it will automatically be copied between “Stable” and “Dev” version, so please work mainly on either one. There’s no point in translating both sides.

In order for a language pack to be generated, at least 95% of the strings in the source need to be translated. The Stable branch of this pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party currently has 96 strings, so some 92 strings need to be translated. (But best is of course to translate all of it.)

If you make a mistake in a translation and then correct it, you’ll end up with two waiting translations, which may mess things up for the editor when they later check your translation. Therefore: If you make a mistake, please click on “Reject” first, and after that – enter the correct version.

And: one final piece of good news. There’s a Danish SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. team, where you can get in touch with other people who translate WordPress to Danish. That’s a good place to ask questions when you get stuck, and also to request that someone has a look at your pending translation. And if your translation is OK, they’ll be happy to give you editor rights for the Danish translation of this plugin. (And then your translations will automatically be approved immediately when you submit them.).

        could you have a look at https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/da/default/wp-plugins/wp-subscribe and check if @hbrobjerg can be made PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves.?
