Hello Polyglots, I am writing in to join up our translation editorsTranslation Editor
Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation
Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation

different Translation Editor roles: [General Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2018/04/13/hello-polyglots-i-am-writing-2/?output_format=md#general-translation-editor)
and [Project Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2018/04/13/hello-polyglots-i-am-writing-2/?output_format=md#project-translation-editor)
for [Geodirectory](https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/), [Directory Starter](https://wordpress.org/themes/directory-starter/),
and [Supreme Directory](https://wordpress.org/themes/supreme-directory). We are
translation editors that work together to create and approve translations for this

      I redacted the request
for _formal, the access to de_DE covers both variants. And I deleted the duplicate
request. First time posters are moderated in this blog.

 6. Hi [@ismiaini](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ismiaini/)
 7. The German translation team will do its best to get your request accepted ASAP.
 8. You can have more info on [how we handle PTE requests](https://de.wordpress.org/mitwirken/how-the-german-community-handles-pte-requests/)
or read it there in german language: [Wie die deutschsprachige Community PTE-Rechte vergibt](https://de.wordpress.org/mitwirken/wie-die-deutschsprachige-community-pte-rechte-vergibt/).
 9. You can also get in touch on the [German Slack](https://dewp.slack.com/signup)
     [#polyglots channel](https://dewp.slack.com/messages/C03S4U67X/). We have a few
recommendations before giving PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation
Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings
on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen)
for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that
are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed
     by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves.’s access.
 10. Please keep in mind the [German Glossary](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/dev/de/default/glossary)
     and [Guidelines](https://de.wordpress.org/mitwirken/style-guide-fuer-uebersetzungen/).
 11. Thanks.
