    To be Italian native, and to know the grammar rules are not sufficient for translating correctly, as every professional translator knows, sorry. It needs to know the glossary, the contest, the style and so on. As Italian WordPress polyglots community we spent a lot of time in to define the Italian guidelines and glossary.
    Some of your translations not respect this guidelines: eg. you translated terms like footer/headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes. that we decided to leave untranslated, or use apostrophe instead of accent mark in capital letters, and other little things that makes your translations non consistent with guidelines.
    Btw, join to SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. is not mandatory for a Contributor, it’s only an help,the place in which discuss in Italian, and in details, such items.
    If someone is not on Slack, I simply reject the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. that are not consistent.
    
    In order to became the PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors.       (belonging to another translator). Not to mention you deleted all my suggestions although not all of them were inconsistent.
      The main purpose of all translation is to make content in one language available to readers/users from another (target) language. And this would mean that an Italian user is more likely to understand “pie di pagina” then “footer”.
      Also, every professional knows that you don’t need a diploma in a field to be great at what you do. My translation was correct and served its purpose, and it did not deserve to be deleted entirely.
      I was only trying to help the community but if you feel my help was not to your standards, then please do it yourself. Because the italian community absolutely needs this wonderful theme translated to help them build a successful blog and especially since you have invested so much of your time in replying to me. Thank you!

well, as a matter of fact I didn’t check the old translations and fix the previous inconsistencies.
Alas, you are totally right: we needs more translations, good translations and too many stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. across many projects are inconsistent and not properly translated.

Just I let you know, I didn’t delete any your right translations: many of them lacked the dot in the final line, for example or lack of the article. Sorry but I think that this is not the right place in which discuss stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. per string, and currently GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org. don’t allows to give the motivation of the reject.

As I’m a volunteer here, I didn’t check the entire theme translation, so if you note some other bad translations feel free to suggest the right one :).
