# Hello Polyglots, I am the…

Hello Polyglots, I am the plugin author for indiebooking https://wordpress.org/plugins/
indiebooking/.
We have a number of great translation editorsTranslation Editor
Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation
Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation
Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two
different Translation Editor roles: [General Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2017/09/13/hello-polyglots-i-am-the-187/?output_format=md#general-translation-editor)
and [Project Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2017/09/13/hello-polyglots-i-am-the-187/?output_format=md#project-translation-editor)
that we’d like to be able to approve translation for our pluginPlugin A plugin is
a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress
website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites.
WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly
with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party.. Please add the following WordPress.
orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by
the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins
and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization.

their respective localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of
a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used
in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/):

 3. Hello [@cschmitt91](https://profiles.wordpress.org/cschmitt91/),
 4. I’ve completely reviewed your suggested translations.
I was able to approve a
lot of them and corrected quite a lot as well. So right now trunk/formal is at
100%, readme/default is also quite good, but trunk/default and readme/formal are
still awaiting some work. (readme/formal is not very necessary to complete, to
be honest.) Also you will see I rejected quite a lot of stringsString A string
is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude
     of localized strings.. [https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/indiebooking](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/indiebooking)
 5. I did so because you submitted all strings using the german formal title “Sie”,
which is not desired to be used in _de\_DE_. There we want “du” 🙂
 6. I will support you to quickly bring _de\_DE_ (trunk) to 100% as well, but in order
to do so, I would like you to join our german speaking slackSlack Slack is a Collaborative
Group Chat Platform [https://slack.com/](https://slack.com/). The WordPress community
has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/)
     channel

 7. Here is [how to join](https://de.wordpress.org/2015-07-06_15-43-48/).
      This way
we can communicate much better than here via this blog.
 8. Or, as an alternative, you grab your laptop and take a ride to Losheim am See
for a coffee and a short meeting. It’s not that far from your location, I assume
     🙂
 9. Looking forward to meet you on slack!
      Christian
