w.org Feature Request : Switch to English

Hi Polyglots,

whenever I come across a pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party page in a language other than English (e.g. coming from Google) I wonder why there is no link to easily switch to the English original. Not even in the Development tab where all the translations are listed it is possible to choose English.

It’s not an effort but it’s annoying that the only chance is to manually change the URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org. That’s why I’d like to suggest to add a link that leads to the English version whenever viewing a plugins page in a language other than English – like the “This plugin is also available in…” bar.

I’m curious about your view.

Regards,
Peter
