You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

I am also PTE for all de_DE plugins and already approved the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. @mikeyott In the system the default source language is supposed to be en_US, and the only way to localize into en_US is to change the source.
So, you might consider changing any mentions of pavements into sidewalks, to make life easier for the blokes on the West side of the Atlantic. 🙂

OK thanks. So do I need to do anything besides make the language en_US by default (which by chance it is anyway)? Do I need to action anything any time someone makes an update to a language? I’m a bit fuzzy on this.
