# Before 2017 i have tried…

Before 2017 i have tried many times manually to translates WordPress in Urdu, and
i have done some websites but this job was very difficult. In 2017 WordPress team
have announce proper and complete local WordPress version release, so i am thankful&
also I have joined this project. But some extra options are still needed to improve
it, like **Urdu font option** is very important please provide font option. Thank
You.

And recently I have translated some stringsString A string is a translatable part
of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. of
Latest Urdu WordPress Version 4.8 and All in one SEO Pack pluginPlugin A plugin
is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress
website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites.
WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly
with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. which any person not approve yet.
I think any localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language
code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
manager is not available right now. I want to translate WordPress, Plugins and Themes.
Also I want to become a **Locale Manager**, i request you please approve me. i’ll
be thankful to Polygots.

Are you referring to something similar? Could you describe in more detail, either
as comments here or in the Slack channel. It would probably be good to involve
