All locale specific WordPress sites are referred to as “Rosetta sites.” The name was inspired from the ancient [Rosetta Stone](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_Stone), which contained more or less the same text in three different languages. Site!** I have been leading the effort to get WordPress translated into Urdu. So, far things look pretty good. We have three new Editors (Saqib, Bilal, Farhan) who are actively contributing, we have the Urdu Glossary and WP 4.7 CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress., as well as TwentySeventeen was 100% translated. Sarah from WPT pointed out that https://ur.wordpress.org/ our Rosetta site was not updated. I’d like to update it. To do that I’d like to request access by becoming a local manager. As far as the current local managers are concerned, all efforts I made to get in touch with them have gone in vain. Sometimes life gets in the way of things you want to do. Completely understandable. I have utmost respect for their work. But since the translators community is now active in WP-Pakistan.Slack.com (WP-Pakistan. com/join) and there are no local managers to help them update the Rosetta Site, I’d like to be one. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/) manager for Urdu. Please read the Roles and Capabilities page of our handbook carefully. 8. There are several people requesting to be editors/GTEs for Urdu, the leadership team will now rely on four locale managers to deal with these requests. 9. I know you’re already contributing to other parts of the project and you prefer to delegate the care of the translations and the content of the Rosetta site, so I rely on you to do that by granting access to the people you and the other locale managers feel will do a good job. 10. Before now i have tried many times manually to translates WordPress in Urdu, and i have done some websites but this job was very difficult. In 2017 WordPress team have announce proper and complete local WordPress version release, so i am thankful& also I have joined this project. But some extra options are still needed to improve it, like **Urdu font option** is very important. 16.
