Post-release To-do’s

  • Translate the release post and publish it on your Rosetta site.
  • Important: When you translate the release post, please do not include the names of all the contributors to it, instead, link to the original post for the full list of contributors. Including the names of all contributors pings them every time on WP Slack as they get a mention. Linking to the original post is a good alternative.
  • A good idea is to include a list of your translators to the release post in your language, especially if the translation team completed the translations before the release. Example: https://goo.gl/HT36XN
  • WordPress installation requirements are updated. Let’s make sure the Rosetta & documentation site are current
  • Translate or read the master list for 4.7 on English forums
