# Hello Polyglots, I am the…

Hello Polyglots, I am the plugin author for IMPress Listings Custom Search Widget(
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-listings-custom-search-form/). We have a number
of great translation editors that we’d like to be able to approve translation for
our plugin(s). Please add the following WordPress.org users as translation editors
for their respective locales:

 *  [#es_ES](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=es_ES) – [@aniloxzin](https://profiles.wordpress.org/aniloxzin/),
   [@torreplaya](https://profiles.wordpress.org/torreplaya/) ([@casiepa](https://profiles.wordpress.org/casiepa/))

Thank you!

 3.  Hi [@aniloxzin](https://profiles.wordpress.org/aniloxzin/): I’va approved some
     stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists
     of a multitude of localized strings. and rejected many.
 4. Please, do not send strings unless you are fluent in Spanish. In our community
     we have a strong commitment with quality and we want good translations a experience
     with es_ES users.
 5. Please ask [@torreplaya](https://profiles.wordpress.org/torreplaya/) and other
     editors to send their strings and pingPing The act of sending a very small amount
     of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response
     from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack
     users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something
     along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” me. I’ll approved them quickly.
     When we do that, we’ll consider to add them as PTEProject Translation Editor A
     Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access
     to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce
     or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can
     approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation,
     editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
     after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
     or by the contributors themselves.

      * Hi Luis, Anil, Anyone
      * I will be quite happy to help anyone, about any pluginPlugin A plugin is a
        piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress
        website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress
        websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and
        integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org
        Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
        or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. or anything at all, obviously
        a bit at the time as I run several jobs but my biggest problem is that Im not
        that sure of how to actually help. If anyone cares in giving me some minimal
        instructions on how to, like I say, I will be most delighted to give back to
        the community
      * Kind regards

 11. Hi, Im a bit confused to be honest.
      For instances, after I just translated this:
 12. [https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-listings-custom-search-form/dev-readme/es/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-listings-custom-search-form/dev-readme/es/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated)
 13. I dont know what am I supposed to do next. Im even afraid to translate any more
     just in case the translations could be lost just because I maybe missed to do
     any possible required final action. Please advice

 16. Never mind, I have translated all and also modified some translations that were
     good but not perfect – I hope this is ok – and I think is just waiting for your
     approval. Please be careful with a couple of stringsString A string is a translatable
     part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.
     translations that I think I should have not translated as I think they were part
     of the original and needed code. I will keep this on mind next time 🙂
