Agenda for the Polyglots chat on April 20th

Dear polyglots,

Here’s a short agenda for the Polyglots chat today.

  • LocaleLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ and tech stats after a week of WordPress 4.5
  • Global WordPress Translation Day – all hands on deck!
    • If you’re speaking (doing a live session, it’s highly recommended you participate in the chat today). We’re going to discuss:
      • The technical setup for the live sessions
      • What you need to do for your session
      • A trial run of the live streaming on Thursday and Friday
    • If you’re organising a local event and need help with your initial setup, questions will be more than welcome. We’re going to help you to:
      • Locate resources for the contributors who will come to your event

  • A Call for Glossary and Style Guide resource links – let’s gather all the resources we have in the newly created Resources page in the handbook (Thank you, @nao)
