As Mongolian (mon) is a macro language [according to Ethnologue](https://www.ethnologue.com/language/mon), which consists of [Halh Mongolian [khk]](https://www.ethnologue.com/language/khk) and [, Peripheral Mongolian [mvf]](https://www.ethnologue.com/language/mvf) could you please clarify which of them you’d be translating to? 10. Looking at [https://translate.wordpress.org/languages/mn](https://translate.wordpress.org/languages/mn) which uses Cyrillic script I would presume we’re looking at khk – Halh Mongolian. 11. The reason I’m asking is because we started using ISO 369-3 codes for localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/) recently and we need to use the most specific code possible for each language. 12. In this case, we would use khk instead of mn for the address of the local site and probably also change the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
