You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

  @netweb, while I created the page for the Handbook, I am not actively working on it. @Nao has made most of the recent changes.

  @netweb all of the sections without anchor links still needs contents. Would be great to get some volunteers to finish it up.

I couldn’t find the current branches for bbPressbbPress Free, open source software built on top of WordPress for easily creating forums on sites. https://bbpress.org. (2.5.x) and BuddyPress (1.9.x). Does the Development branch represent it, or is that for future versions only? And if so, is it still up to date due to the branches seeming to lag behind with the current versions?

Also, is @defries still active as validatorValidator See translation editor. for nl_NL? As I saw multiple translated stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. for BuddyPress and bbPress which still require validation.

  There are indeed some bbPressbbPress Free, open source software built on top of WordPress for easily creating forums on sites. https://bbpress.org. v2.6 and BuddyPress v2.0 stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. now in the /dev branches, not many but a few. This should be fixed pretty soon so we just have wait until it is.

    Ha… I have much of the ‘base’ theme done and am now just tidying it up an starting to commit it to the repoWordPress Localization Repository The WordPress Localization Repository at https://i18n.svn.wordpress.org/ is a Subversion repository where official WordPress translations are maintained.
