# Hey everyone So I’ve been wondering how are…

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been wondering how are we supposed to test the translations for the iOSiOS
The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. app? Also, how will the whole thing
with the local versions work for the users? Is any language going be available for
the user or is it going to depend on the local app store the app was downloaded
from?

 3. For iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. the best way is to download
Xcode, the codebase of the app and run it in the simulator. You do need Mac OS
then. All languages will be available in the app and the language selected depends
on the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language
code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
of your phone. I think there are sites out there that makes it easier but I guess
someone from the mobile team can help us out with that.
