pavelevap you may download the original pot at http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/pot/trunk/ and update your language po file. Catalog > Update from POT filePOT file POT files are the template files for PO files. They will have all the translation strings left empty. A POT file is essentially an empty PO file without the translations, with just the original strings..

A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.. Only in GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org. there are 1729. And when you export from GlotPress, there are also only 1704 strings. Really strange…

      I do not think so, there more plurals than 25. I am worried because of upcoming 3.5.

        In which case you should definitely build an RCRelease Candidate A beta version of software with the potential to be a final product, which is ready to release unless significant bugs emerge. and test that locally…

        Also, I think my question meant that they would be 50 plurals, but only counted as 1. This for languages with 1 plural form.

A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. which can be wrong or can be used previous version of localizationLocalization Localization (sometimes shortened to "l10n") is the process of adapting a product or service to a particular language, culture, and desired local "look-and-feel.". I am not sure how can I find them… There were never problems with counting plurals before and in this case there would be differences between languages? But all languages have 25 more strings…

        A language has 25 stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. that have 2 plural forms, i.e. 25×2 strings
        
        Poedit counts each plural set as 1 stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings., i.e. 25×1
        
        So, for a language with N plural forms, you’d have 25xN strings, but Poedit still only counts 25×1.

        Yes, but Czech has 2 plural forms and English (Canada) only 1. But in GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org.
