# There’s a plutal bug in my locale I…

There’s a plutal bug in my localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination
of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s
used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/).
I had been trying to figure out why I was asked to enter 5 plural forms, which is
a little ott for Gaelic (gd). It turns out that when I export a po file, it has “
nplurals=5; plural=n==1 ? 0 : n==2 ? 1 : n<7 ? 2 : n 2 && n < 20) ? 2 : 3;
 please?
Otherwise I have to change it manually every time which is time consuming.

 3. Great, it got mangled somehow… it needs changing to Gaelic (gd), United Kingdom
