# Hi our local users asked if there is…

Hi,
 our local users asked if there is a possibility to provide a permalink to the
latest release in the local wp.org sites. Like the wordpress.orgWordPress.org The
community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is
where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as
well as the central location for community conversations and organization. [https://wordpress.org/](https://wordpress.org/)/
latest.zip link does?

     * Now, that was neat trick. I’ve been wanting that kind of link for our danish
       site but didn’t think it was possible.
     * [https://da.wordpress.org/latest-da_DK.zip](https://da.wordpress.org/latest-da_DK.zip)
     * Works like a charm and I would suppose it always links to the latest version.
       Is that some kind of built in function in the localeLocale Locale = language
       version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance
       es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported
       by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
       sites, that I’ve missed?

        - Yep. I believe it was first mentioned here:

           * Sorry for asking, I tried latest.zip, but not latest-${localeLocale Locale

             code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list
