The WordPress CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. Performance Team is dedicated to monitoring, enhancing, and promoting performance in WordPress core and its surrounding ecosystem. We build and manage the Performance Lab plugin, a collection of performance-related “feature projects” for WordPress core.

Found a bug or have an idea for a new Performance Lab feature? Create an issue in our Performance Lab repo.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with our issues marked as good first issues for new contributors or see all of our issues that need developer help.
