Once we do that, we’ll move it to “Success”. 7. ### In-progress projects: 8. * [API response time assessment and reduction](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/3197): This is a newer project which spun out of unplanned work that was discussed during the last priority meeting. The maintainer team has been focusing on identifying and addressing the cause of periodic increases in APIAPI An API or Application Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows programs to interact with each other and share data in limited, clearly defined ways. response time. A recent change to the Elasticsearch indices saw an overall reduction in size of 30%! Investigation and root cause analysis is ongoing. * (**Moved from on-hold**) [Django ASGI](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/2843): We’ve made adjustments to our monitoring dashboards which now include the newer canary service. Since we no longer believe the API is the source of the respopnse time issue mentioned above, this work can be resumed so we’ve moved it from on-hold to in-progress. * [Additional search views](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/410): Feature work continues to move on this project, namely around the new API endpoints needed to service the views. * [Sensitive content reporting flow guidelines](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/383): Unchanged since last month – drafting of the related IPs has begun, and work for tackling the already outlined copy changes is slated in the TODOs. * [Search relevancy sandbox](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/392): Development work for this project was deprioritized for the API response time assessment efforts, but work related to it is still available and we intend to start working on it once again this cycle. 9. ### On-hold projects: 10. * (**Moved from in-progress**) [ECS alarms for anomalous behavior](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/2344): Many of the current alarms have been silenced while we try and address the API response time issue mentioned above. Additionally, the primary lead for this project is AFK for a few weeks, so we opted to move this into on-hold to focus on the other existing projects. * [Nuxt 3 migration](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/411): We did not pull this off of on-hold due to the other projects we have in-flight. However, we have a deadline of the end of the year for tackling this, so it will be moved into in-progress no later than next priorities meeting. * [Clearly document all media properties](https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/412): This will be next-in-line for work after the above projects are shipped. 11. ### Unplanned work: 12. Two tickets related to audio improvements following the CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with.
