This week we focused on the Postlaunch Milestone in GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. This milestone collects all the issues that need to be resolved since the audio and redesign launched.

  • We successfully launched a redesign to most of the page in OpenverseOpenverse Openverse is a search engine for openly-licensed media, including images and audio. Find Openverse on GitHub and at as well as audio integration, the first new content type natively available on Openverse! Congrats everyone!
  • Next week’s meeting will be hosted by @zackkrida, as we continue our hosting rotation amongst the sponsored Openverse developers.
