# Welcome to Openverse

This is the Make site for the OpenverseOpenverse **Openverse **is a search engine
for openly-licensed media, including images and audio. Find Openverse on [GitHub](https://github.com/WordPress?q=openverse)
and at [https://openverse.org](https://openverse.org). project, a search engine 
for openly licensed media. We currently index over 500 million Creative Commons 
licensed images and will be adding audio and video support in the near future.

Please be patient as we setup the project, processes, and procedures.
