# 󠀁[Github repos for WindowsPhone and Legacy BlackBerry](https://make.wordpress.org/mobile/2014/02/20/github-repos-for-windowsphone-and-legacy-blackberry/)󠁿

This morning I finished setting up GithubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers
online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and
modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories
require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’
where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed
before being merged by the repository owner. [https://github.com/](https://github.com/)
repositories for the [WordPress for Windows Phone](https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-WindowsPhone)(
[trac](https://windowsphone.trac.wordpress.org/)), and [WordPress for Legacy BlackBerry](https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-BlackBerry-Legacy)(
[trac](https://blackberry.trac.wordpress.org/)) apps.

The svn history and authorship are preserved, however, if I missed linking up an
author to their Github account let me know. For both Github repos I’ve set the default
branch to develop and the associated website to this blog.

Both svn repos included directories for graphics and other binaries which I have
not tried to import. I think its probably fine to just leave them in their respective
svn repos, but if we want to move them let’s talk about the best way, adding them
to a new branch seems weird.

Looking to get started contributing? There are a number of smaller bugs and enhancements
listed for the iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. app [on Github](https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS/issues)

Here are some that are perfect for beginners or someone just looking for a quick
turnaround:

 *  [List of non-localizable strings](https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS/issues/59)(
would just be to go through each one and make sure it’s translatable)
 * [No way to exit add blogs screen if you’ve tapped (i)](https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS/issues/55)(
only seems to occur when you have no blogs in the app but are signed into a WordPress.

[@nacin](https://profiles.wordpress.org/nacin/) has asked in IRC if it makes sense
to move the official githubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation
of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers.
Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription.
GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches

owner. [https://github.com/](https://github.com/) home of the WordPress mobile apps
from WordPress-Mobile to WordPress.

Thoughts about this? I’m not sure there is any reason to not make the switch.
