Call for Testing: WordPress for Android 13.7

WordPress for Android version 13.7-rc-1 is available for testing on the BetaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. channel. What to Test

To prepare:

  5. 1577 Selecting an image block should show a blue border and you should be able to press the image to see a full-screen preview.
  6. 1582 Add and remove empty blocks a few times in a row and try to crash the app.
  7. 10788 Edit an existing post on the web, wait for an autosave, and close the browser tab without saving—then open the post in the app and confirm the dates in the conflict resolution dialog are accurate according to your device timezone. Follow up at 10773 too.

  1. 12858 Block editor: insert images from the “Free Photo Library” and “Other Apps”. Try using different alignments. Try closing and re-opening the post. Try editing while offline.
  2. 1489 Block editor: create and publish a long post with different alignments for some of the paragraphs.
  3. 1442 Block editor: try to break the preformatted block, try copying and pasting text into that block from the web or other apps.
  4. 1552 Block editor: when you tap on an Innerblock, such as the paragraph inside the Media & Text block, the first character should be capitalized when you start typing.
