WordPress for iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. launched Version 1.0 on July 22nd, 2008 for iOS version 2.0 and by the end of  August 2008, it had over 100,000 installs worldwide. As of November 2013, the app has around 750,000 monthly active users.

Historically the app has been maintained by a revolving cadre of developers, each adding their own personal touches to improve the app. There are always new features just waiting for new contributors to step up and champion them.

  • The wordpress-mobile/WordPress-iOS GithubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ repository is where active development happens and where you can file bug reports, questions, and suggestions.
