Release Notes

  • BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Editor: Fixed empty text fields on right-to-left layout. Now they are selectable and placeholders are visible.
  • Block Editor: Add settings to allow changing column widths
  • Block Editor: Media editing support in Gallery block.
  • UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think ‘how are they doing that’ and less about what they are doing. Changes for login:
    • when logging in with a Site Address.
    • when logging in/signing up with Apple.
    • when logging in/signing up with Google.
  • Simplified Google authentication. If signup is attempted with an existing WordPress account, automatically redirects to login. If login is attempted without a matching WordPress account, automatically redirects to signup.
  • Block Editor: Improved logic for creating undo levels.
  • Social account login: Fixed an issue that could have inadvertently linked two social accounts.
