# Hi there 5.1 rc 1 has been released…

Hi there, 5.1-rc-1 has been released in the Google Play Store. This is a maintenance
release, we squashed minor bugs in Me, Reader, Comments and Site Settings screens–
we also improved app accessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened
to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for
people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct
access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s
assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.
org/wiki/Accessibility). If you’re a TalkBack user, we’d love to hear from you.

 3. Interested in testing the app’s accessiblity, but not sure where to start? Try
    these steps:
 4. 1. Go to your Android Settings > AccessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly
shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments
for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct
access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s

org/wiki/Accessibility) > TalkBack and toggle it on
     2. Open the WordPress app
again 3. Try doing one task (e.g. check your notifications, read a blog post, upload

How do I install RC1, and how do I revert back to production?

        - I updated the instructions on G+ community page. I think a handbook page
is not necessary since there only 2 steps: “Click the opt-in” link, and wait
for the Play Store to update the app.

           * I never use G+. I couldn’t find the instructions. I finally clicked the(
             i) button. This is the right page?

           * That information should be on this site, in the handbook, and linked in

can be a horizontal rectangle below or above the content area, footer,

           * To get at the instructions, you must find the community page, request
to join, and then find the instruction page. There are no instructions
for that. Feels like we don’t want people to test.
