# A new beta of WordPress for Android is…

however, design changes often occur as part of the process. of WordPress for Android
is ready! This release has some great updates to selecting and adding categories:

 * You can now remove individual categories from a post instead of being forced
to clear them all out at once.
 * The categoryCategory The 'category' taxonomy lets you group posts / content together
that share a common bond. Categories are pre-defined and broad ranging. selection
view is now properly sorted by sub categories.
 * Adding a new category will be properly inserted in the category list instead
   of at the bottom.
 * Adding a new category won’t clear your currently selected categories any longer.

 7. Side note: it’s amusing that the Android builds are on a site called iosbuilds…

 14. Hi, I just installed 2.4.2 today. I noticed one little problem though. If I put
any text inside of less than and greater than signs, all of the text just disappears
after the draft is saved. I guess it thinks I’m trying to use tags.

      * Indeed it does! What was your use case for that?
