While this is only the first iteration, the plan is to continue design and development to create something truly amazing. This is the first step toward that goal. This project moved quickly in hopes to provide something beautiful for the holidays, and I’m proud of this beginning. If my browser is rendering the footer properly, it seems to a few alignment issues on mobile devices. 10. **WordPress Swag** & **WordPress users** the underline doesn’t align with the other 2 footer sections. Should that match? 11. Also the alignment of all 4 footer sections don’t align with the bottom footer navigation. It’s off by about 12px. Should that be aligned? 12. It is not part of the new design. And yes, it’s not supposed to be aligned at present. * The headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes. and footer are global pieces. Redesigning them, in any way, will have to be part of a much larger effort in redesigning, well, everything. The div#download-mobile section with the “Download WordPress” button seems to take up alot of space on the top of mobile devices. Furthermore, I’m not sure how many people are going to be downloading WordPress coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. on their mobile devices, so this could possibly be moved lower, button renamed, and trigger the functionality that happens when you click “Get a Mobile App” button on the /download/ page – allowing the “Meet WordPress” message to come up higher in the viewport. 51.
