AccessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). ( standards are very important and we should do all our work with this spirit of making our copy and strategy usable by any user.  Fortunately for us, the Accessibility Team has collected and currates best practices and is sharing their handbook with us, so rather than reinvent the wheel, we defer to them and recommend every team do the same.
