# Communication

You will find discussions and a weekly global meeting in the [#marketing](http://wordpress.slack.com/messages/marketing/)
channel on [Slack](https://chat.wordpress.org/), and the Marketing blog, known as
the P2P2 P2 or O2 is the term people use to refer to the Make WordPress blog. It
can be found at [https://make.wordpress.org](https://make.wordpress.org/). We also
use tools, including Google docs and sheets, and GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website
that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared,
copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private
repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘
pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed
and discussed before being merged by the repository owner. [https://github.com/](https://github.com/).

We use GitHub to as our major projects and tasks management tool, and adapt it where
we can to meet the team’s needs, to gain input from other teams and use similar
tools to them, and to assist contributors who found they were unable to use [Trello](https://trello.com/b/8UGHVBu8/wp-marketing).
The new [GitHub marketing tasks board](https://github.com/orgs/WordPress/projects/21)(
2022) – note items are being transferred to this from the previous rolling tasks
board due to a bug that occurred during the transfer to the WordPress GitHub.

If you are unable to find a task, please try the previous [GitHub](https://github.com/wpmarketingteam)
repositories until the transfer and migrationMigration Moving the code, database
and media files for a website site from one server to another. Most typically done
when changing hosting companies. are complete. Thank you for your understanding.
