These summary notes focus on key items and actions from the meeting and assist with asynchronous contribution to the Global Marketing Team. For those unable to attend a meeting due to time zone issues, please do join the discussion threads after the meeting and send your updates.

We are looking for contributors to open the virtual coffee break for the bi-weekly coffee break.

The team is exploring restarting a coffee break to enable more people from different time zones to participate. This could be alternating between an early and a late UTC coffee break. We use UTC as WordPress.org is a global open sourceOpen Source Open Source denotes software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. Open Source **must be** delivered via a licensing model, see GPL. project. You can add comments and if you would be interested in an early UTC coffee break to the discussion on GitHub card #137.

The timetable was discussed and opportunity for further views to be expressed, in addition to the GitHub card where progress and discussion has been taking place. This GitHub card has also been highlighted since October to encourage interest in the process and nominations. Some changes were made to allow for the Thanksgiving holidays in the US.

The team was also asked for input on the date for a social event at the beginning of the new year.
@nalininonstopnewsuk said the plan was to include items that have been suggested from the weekly social question.
Action: If you can share whether you are likely to be back by the first week or January 2023 or prefer a social in the second week, we can try and find a date and time that will work.

We have a couple of older cards that need finishing. We will share those in the thread to help complete them. Please let the team reps know in this channel if you need help. There are lots of members of the team who can answer questions and help. Do not worry about asking for assistance. We are a team!

Update from @bjmcsherry: “WP.org had another strong week relative to other weeks in a non-release window. While numbers and engagement are down from last week, that is more of a reflection of the continued excitement from the 6.1 release. Our strongest campaigns of the week however did continue to be focused on features/benefits of the 6.1 release as users are still talking about this online. It was that continued discussion with our audience that provided us with our top 3 posts/campaigns of the week.”

Month in WordPress: @rmartinezduque is hoping to finish the draft for October’s Month in WordPress today or tomorrow. In order to allow some time for review/feedback, the publishing date will be moved to Friday (November 18) or early next week. Check the GitHub card #131 for more information.

There is no set time at the moment. I wonder if 8am UTC would work or something like 1pm UTC? If you are in a different timezone and can help with this or would like to attend a coffee break on alternate weeks, add your comments on GitHub or in this meeting. Let us know if times of 8am/08:00 UTC or 1pm/13:00 UTC would work? We are interested in arranging an earlier coffee break if contributors would like one and can help facilitate.
