WordPress 5.9 is now available for translation. The new theme with this release, Twenty Twenty-Two, can also be translated.

  2. Merging the Marketing GitHub under the main WordPress area and updating links. If you can help @webcommsat @meher and @vimes1984 @eidolonnight with documentation and work on this merger, please get in touch. Marketing meeting times for Jan to March 2022 – @femkreations to share a poll on possibility of moving it to 15:00 UTC start.

People of WordPress features

Thanks to @Femy , @Reyes Martínez and @marybaum who have offered to help with graphics, and to @MegPhillips91 who is going to look at a template we can share with people for suitable photos. We are awaiting receipt of photos for the next few features.

Marketing team repTeam Rep A Team Rep is a person who represents the Make WordPress team to the rest of the project, make sure issues are raised and addressed as needed, and coordinates cross-team efforts. nominations for 2022

We have two nominations where the candidate has said they are happy to go to the next stage: @eidolonnight (sponsored contributor) and @nalininonstopnewsuk (volunteer contributor). Nalini has asked to role share with another contributor. The existing team reps group are looking at what support they could potentially provide in the interim, as well as the projects and actions groups.
