Translation Day mini events planning

Update via: @nalininonstopnewsuk, @webcommsat and @meher

  • Thanks to everyone who filled in the form on potential mini translation day events or interest.
  • The consensus was to do a promotion to coincide with WCEU potentially in June and focus energies on mini events all being in the week of International Translation Day at the end of September.
  • We had 48 responses on this question on the form, which reinforces the previous comments and the ongoing demands and effect of the pandemic.
  • @nao confirmed she is available to collaborate on this in early June, but later on may be too busy for her with WC Japan (June 20-26) and the Japanese translation workshop.

  • We will liaise with @evarlese and others on these dates and the feedback on the form that has been running since the last translation days in October, and work with @nao around her availability.

  • Update from @nalininonstopnewsuk – we have a group who attend weekly and if any of the marketing team are around and wanted to shadow, let me know. One of the devs in our team can help you get started.
