Hi @bridgetwillard thanks a lot for your great work on this Slide Deck.

I would suggest a few edits :
- Slide 2 : What is the difference between “Teams Overview” & “Individual Teams Overview”, as I couldn’t find a slide containing the “Teams Overview” title, I guessed they were the same. But wondering 🙂
- Slide 3 : it would be better to avoid incorporating the text into the Uncle Sam’s image + I’d suggest to include a link to the image credits/license (The french version I’ve made is applying this advice).
- Slide 4 : I think more than a “user-driven” project WordPress is an “Open SourceOpen Source Open Source denotes software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. Open Source **must be** delivered via a licensing model, see GPL.” project. I saw the “Open Source” term was used once in the Marketing Team’s overview, but I think it’s important to use it a bit earlier and this slide seems a nice place to do it. Also, I’d suggest to add the credits/license of the WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. Karachi’s attendance picture. Over this picture it’s saying “outlined below”, I would expect to have the ways to contribute on the same slide, maybe something like “outlined in the following individual team overviews” would fit best.
- Slide 5 : credits/license of the image + I wonder if “SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/.” means something for everyone. I’d probably explain what it is.
- Slide 18 : I would remove it as basically it says we don’t need you, you can’t contribute. It doesn’t serve the purpose of the slides imho :(. Moreover the description is not friendly at all, nothing is said about the fact submitting plugins is contributing to WordPress. If it has to be listed, I advise you to improve the description so that we feel WordPress is happy to welcome new plugins, and inform people can contribute by sending security or guideline issues using plugins@wordpress.org… There would be a lot more to say about how to improve contributions around plugins, but that’s not the place to do it 🙂
