@kenshino summarized there are ~351 articles starting from WordPress Version 0.70 on, migration is approximately 1/2 through and recapped necessity for pre-publish review.

DEVELOPMENT/DESIGN
@milana_cap has been labeling issues for Phase 1.5 and creating epics as well as closing issues.

@kenshino and @milana_cap pinned down pressing issues from tickets, two of which are:

-SidebarSidebar A sidebar in WordPress is referred to a widget-ready area used by WordPress themes to display information that is not a part of the main content. It is not always a vertical column on the side. It can be a horizontal rectangle below or above the content area, footer, header, or any where in the theme.

@milana_cap brought up issues with building (Grunt/Travis)
*@milana_cap will check with @netweb

1. Has conflicts, not sure if still valid: https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/issues/229
PR https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/pull/259

2. Has conflicts caused by grunt, needs checking the grunt tasks https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/issues/230
PR https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/pull/260

The first may or may not still be relevant, both have conflicts with obvious wrong grunt build.

@kenshino requested that once the issues are pinned down, that someone be assigned to pick up on the two tasks.
@milana_cap will follow up.

@milana_cap brought up another task for discussion:
(metaboxes and CPT creation)
https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/issues/157

Discussion on how metaboxes have changed with the new editor (and a previous pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party that also created custom metaMeta Meta is a term that refers to the inside workings of a group. For us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central and Make WordPress. boxes and the need for it to be tested on Staging first if used) (helphub-post-types)
https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/tree/master/plugins/support-helphub/inc/helphub-post-types

No modification was made to original task, which was to use a maintained plugin for CTP creation.

@milana_cap provided the reference link for issues marked as Phase 1.5 (thus far):
https://github.com/Kenshino/HelpHub/labels/Phase%201.5

@milana_cap will work on Grunt and Travis issues, complete running through all issues and adjust priorities and pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” developers for additional assistance once those are more distinct. Bug scubs can then follow.

———

-Discussion relative to shifting Phase 1.5 to TracTrac Trac is the place where contributors create issues for bugs or feature requests much like GitHub.https://core.trac.wordpress.org/. to involve other developers

-Discussion about a possible meta-helphub channel
@kenshino will connect with @coffee2code to determine if this would also work well with the Meta team.

GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ Docs from WordPress.comWordPress.com An online implementation of WordPress code that lets you immediately access a new WordPress environment to publish your content. WordPress.com is a private company owned by Automattic that hosts the largest multisite in the world. This is arguably the best place to start blogging if you have never touched WordPress before. https://wordpress.com/

@nao from Automattic (on a localisation team) has offered a possibility to be able to use some existing Gutenberg docs, to which they are also translating presently in 16 languages.

@joostdevalk was also mentioned in the original conversation in terms of how to handle possible duplicate content between .com and .org.

@kenshino asked @dryanpress to follow up with @nao and report back to @atachibana to see how this might fit in with their docs production that is underway.
