Phase 1 Updates

@atachibana has 4 contributors working on the migration to wordpress.org/support. Currently, 20 of 173 articles have been migrated.

@tomf has made some questions and observations regarding the manual migration process on the Manual Migration Trello Card. In general, the “Copy All Content” process is working, but if the content is mixed from the classic editor (i.e. Images inside of a list), “Convert to Blocks” will affect the format/content. Tom is working on graphical examples to add to the handbook for migration.

@kenshino would like to set the goal for migration to be complete by 5 November (2 weeks) so that it will be ready ahead of WordCamp US (6-9 December). He will be making a call for experienced WordPress.org editors to contribute to the migration.

The current theme on WordPress.org/Support is not working correctly for the Articles Custom Post Type. The full-width display of migrated articles is a challenge for the migration team to ensure that articles are formatted correctly. @kenshino will be following up with @netweb to update the theme.

Phase 2 Updates

@zzap and @kenshino will be coordinating this week to set the priorities for Phase 2.
