This is what the make.wordpress.com\/marketing team uses for example: <a href=\"https:\/\/trello.com\/b\/8UGHVBu8\/wp-marketing\">https:\/\/trello.com\/b\/8UGHVBu8\/wp-marketing.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span> triage<\/strong><br>\nBecause <a href=\"https:\/\/trello.com\/b\/fnHScayo\/design-team-roadmap\">the Design Trello board<\/a> is a road map, last week we discussed it would be good to triage the lists and see how we can improve the board as a general guidance for new and exsisting contributors to the WordPress design team.<br>\nWe will triage a few lists each week.<\/p>\n<p>This week, we discussed the following lists\/cards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In general, if people add cards, it would be good if they give them a little more explanation on what they want to accomplish. It\u2019s also important that everyone who is assigned to a card, does update.<\/li>\n<li>It should also be ok for people adding themselves to an issue and also ok removing themselves.<\/li>\n<li>Anyone who wants but doesn\u2019t have access to the design Trello board, please send a dm to <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/karmatosed\/\" class=\"mention\"><span class=\"mentions-prefix\">@<\/span>karmatosed<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/melchoyce\/\" class=\"mention\"><span class=\"mentions-prefix\">@<\/span>melchoyce<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/chat\/\">Slack<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>List: Outreach<\/strong><br>\nThe idea of reaching out to other communities came from the Community Summit. People were able to share resources, help each other out, and the relationship was pretty beneficial to both sides.<br>\nA list of non-WordPress conferences was created on the Trello board, where we can save interesting conferences for designers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>List: Structure<\/strong><br>\n*Card: \u2018Creation of resources for handbook\u2019 was changed to \u2018Suggestions of resources for handbook\u2019 (moved to handbook-list). On this card, people can drop suggestions for <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/design\/handbook\/resources\/\">the design resources pages<\/a> in the design handbook. Please fill these up as with as much information as possible.<br>\nOnce added to the page, the suggestion should be moved to the Trello list \u2018done\u2019. (or do people get rights to add the resources to the page on <span tabindex='0' class='glossary-item-container'>WordPress.org<span class='glossary-item-hidden-content'><span class='glossary-item-header'>WordPress.org<\/span> <span class='glossary-item-description'>The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization.  <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">https:\/\/wordpress.org\/<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span> themselves?) -&gt; not decided on yet.<br>\n*Card: Improve Grey (former blue) box<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/mapk\/\" class=\"mention\"><span class=\"mentions-prefix\">@<\/span>Mapk<\/a> will add some info on the card, including more description and details to make it more understandable for new contributors<br>\nLet\u2019s make it better and find inspiration on other team\u2019s pages.<br>\n*Card: buddy system for new contributors<br>\nThis idea was created in July 2017, but never got followed up. From here, we started discussing the status of cards should be added. Therefore, cards should be labelled.<br>\n<strong>Action<\/strong>: create label system for Trello cards<br>\nLabel suggestions:\n<ul>\n<li>In progress\n<\/li>\n<li>Need discussion\/meeting\n<\/li>\n<li>Good first issue (or our wording of that)\n<\/li>\n<li>Needs decision on next step?\n<\/li>\n<li>Needs help\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Card: Comprehensive list of contributing designers<br>\nThe idea of this was \u2018leave no designer behind\u2019. Right now it\u2019s hard to know who is doing what. If they are lonely, if they need back up, if they are just rocking and we should shine a light on them.<br>\nThere\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1zCMyxskOK6q7M98WoIJNRLyMVESNBrRr4ji004zB7hE\/edit#gid=0\">Google doc with details of design contributors<\/a>. Let other design contributors fill this out and pass it around on <span tabindex='0' class='glossary-item-container'>Slack<span class='glossary-item-hidden-content'><span class='glossary-item-header'>Slack<\/span> <span class='glossary-item-description'>Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform <a href=\"https:\/\/slack.com\/\">https:\/\/slack.com\/<\/a>. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/chat\/\">https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/chat\/<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span> (action for <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/karmatosed\/\" class=\"mention\"><span class=\"mentions-prefix\">@<\/span>karmatosed<\/a>?)<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was a great meeting, thanks everyone for actively attending.<br>\nDiscussing the Trello board took longer than expected.
