You don’t need edit access to use the Figma libraries, you can copy components from there into your own drafts. If you’re a contributor with the ability to grant edit access, please be mindful, and downgrade to view access once the initial need for edit has waned.

Zoom link will be posted on the SlackSlackSlack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/.#design channel and meeting will be recorded for those who cannot attend. A summary will also be posted in lieu of meeting notes.
If you would like to share your work, show up to the call and raise your hand or let us know in the comments.
We had a bit of a mix up with the time due to timezones and DST but were able to share two designs: @shaunandrews shared Pattern Directory design progress and @critterverse shared reusable blocks. @estelaris shared ways designers can be more involved.
@critterverse shared her ongoing work with Reusable blocks. To continue the discussion, check out the issue on Github: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/30357
Being more active
@estelaris started the discussion on how designers be more active. A few take-aways:
Bring work out in the open so more people are aware of what is going on and we can engage in discussions.
Rely more on async communication in Slack, especially as not everyone can make all the meetings.
Consider posting work to the Make Design blog, as @shaunandrews recently did with Patterns.

@itsjonq is doing live demos on G2 components on Twitch. He will be announcing any sessions in the Slack#design channel.
@mapk showed us improvements on the query block and we actually discussed solutions like combining steps in one screen or splitting the action into two steps/two screens.
@estelaris reminded the team about adding their nominations on the open call for a new team rep. Nominations will close on November 30 and voting will take place on December 2 during the weekly meeting.
There is no set agenda for Show and Tell and the design team opens the meeting for anyone who would like to present what they are working on. Mostly, it is members of the design team that take advantage of this, but if you are member of another team and are working on a WP design-related project/feature, you are welcome to join us.
